… this advice. I’ve tried it in moderation and at full capacity. It worked if I was with an asshole. Some of it does hold some value though. Picking your battles, making sacrifices, and maybe not including “fuck” in every sentence are assets to any relationship, romantic and otherwise. But erasing myself is what I feel I was advised to do in essence. The advice I wish I’d gotten was to just be myself and practice receptiveness.
